Today The Leisure Agency celebrates its first year in cyberspace! It has been a full year for our little collective. To our original core group of Agents, including Captain Glitter Biscuit, Secret Agent Spork, Agent Rubin, and Special Agent TR 33, we have added valuable members Agent Doombot, Agent Leisure Muffin, Agent Courtney, Agent PerfectChild, Agent Mike, Fraulein Miller, and Agent Ambivalent to our ranks. The Agency could not exist without the contributions of these talented and creative beings, who with their very presence make the world a more Leisurely place. Thank you, Agents, for your news stories, hilarious Agent pages, moral support and ongoing fabulosity!
Over the past year we have seen special events such as the Halloween Parade, growth of the website with sections like the Recruitment Center and the soon-to-appear Leisure Agency Recommends, and new innovations including the Leisure Agency Calendar, with Leisure holidays for every month of the year. Thanks to all the Agents and Friends of Leisure who have contributed to these projects and more. With your continuing ingenuity and help, this will be the first of many years of Leisure for us all.
I hope that today gives you an opportunity to affirm your dedication to Leisure, whether by taking a nap, making a silly face in the mirror at the makeup counter, or even working hard -- at something you enjoy. Cheers and plentiful sleep and silliness to you all!
