Regarding No. 3, of Yesterday

A-ha!

(I'm not sure why the Democrats should be "red-faced." Who wouldn't resort to profanity in a balloon deployment crisis?)

Dagnabit that was hysterical. My new all-purpose expletive is going to be "No balloons! No balloons!"

I live in Boston and it does not really suprise me that of all the things they screw up around here, they can't even get the balloons to drop properly! Oh, well, I can't complain, no traffic on my way to work all week!

Toy Culture Alert . . . Toy Culture Alert . . .

The new campaing issue will be, "Which party says the F-word more often? Vote the other one."

Well, I just flipped on the TV, only to learn that we are under another "code orange" yet again. The government has learned that there "might" be another attack in the works. Their recommendation to us is "be careful, keep your eyes open for anything suspicious."(Does anyone else feel like James Bond?) But they still urge us to report for work as usual.(Yeah, that's right, put all your citizens right under the target.) Back when the president and VP were under attack-they "relocated" them to a secret spot.

Hey, I have an idea. Why not "temporarily" relocate your business? Pick a suburb. Hand out a memo at your next meeting:"we will be meeting at this address until until further notice". Hey, if the Pres. and VP can run and hide- so can we!

EV, you know what works really well? When you're sitting in traffic because some asshats don't know how to merge and you bang the steering wheel and yell GO BALLOONS! GO BALLOONS! ALL BALLOONS!

Oh, yeah.
